General Information
Display Gowns:
In store we have sample gowns which are available for your inspection... Previewing gowns before purchase will give you much more confidence as to style suitability and colour. Our consultants will take your measurements and assist with sizing before your gown is made just for you. Your consultant will show you the various colour choices and different options for each gown. Our Gowns come in standard sizing from size 2 to 30. Sometimes minor alterations may be necessary to perfect the fit for your personal shape.
Ordering Gowns:
If your gown is ordered in, it will be delivered in store approximately 4 to 6 months after your ordering deposit has been paid, unless otherwise stated on your Order Invoice. You will be contacted when your gown has been delivered to arrange your Final Fitting and collection. At this final fitting it is useful to bring your shoes and undergarments that you intend wearing on the day. This way you will know if you need alterations to perfect the fit to your personal body shape. ( Appointments for Final Fittings and collection of gowns are only available from Monday to Friday)
Cancellation of Gowns or Accessories:
If you cancel your order, 50% of the purchase price will be forfeited. If you cancel a layby stock gown / item or do not collect with in the layby period - you will loose all monies paid if you cancel a gown/item that has been altered, made to measure , special design - the order cannot be canceled and all items must be paid in full and taken.
Delivery Times:
If your gown needs to be ordered, it will be delivered to the store approximately 4 to 6 months after ordering, unless otherwise stated on your invoice. You will be contacted when it has arrived to arrange your collection.
Alterations:
Alterations are an extra charge. Whilst we do not offer an in house alterations service we will recommend , experiences, qualified and reliable alteration services . Brides of Brisbane do not pay for your alterations.
Lay bys:
Layby terms for Bridal Gowns - 6 to 12 months ( please discuss your requirements with your consultants )
If you have outstanding layby balances and do not make regular payments, or if there is no contact made within the layby period, or your layby period has expired, a courtesy letter will be sent to you. If there is no contact with in 14 days of the date of the letter, the layby will be cancelled and all deposits will be lost.
Final Collection of your gown:
On collection of your gown, please ensure that you have checked your gown thoroughly and are satisfied, prior to leaving the store. Once your gown has left the premises it is no longer the responsibility of the store.
