Natalie & Scott
12th February 2021
The Love Story
Natalie and Scott originally met in high school back in 1998. As if in a romantic film, they then crossed paths again at midnight at the Brisbane New Years Ball at the RNA showgrounds in 2013. They didn't make their relationship official until the end of 2013 as Natalie had planned to go to Europe for several months.

Scott proposed at one of their favourite places, Electric Ave, on their 7th year anniversary. He had the whole day planned out for them.
The Wedding
"We chose to have our ceremony at the Brisbane Registry Office as we knew the location was beautiful and simple and we really wanted to have a small ceremony with all of our closest family and friends and wanted our 9 nieces and nephews to be able to attend and it was still going to be able to go ahead no matter what the restriction could possibly end up being. We then chose Blackbird Bar & Grill as our reception venue as we really wanted a party vibe with our 100 guests. We knew the view and food was amazing and there would be very little for us to do as the venue had everything we needed. The day was just perfect!"
The Dress
'Stella' - Brides Desire by Wendy Sullivan
Customisation: No Train
"I chose this dress because it was very comfortable, flattering and I wanted to keep it relatively simple, yet bridal. I had 3 other experiences of trying on wedding dresses and I must say that Brides of Brisbane was hands down the best experience by far. I had done a small amount of research to know which bridal stores had dresses within my budget, had the styles I was after, and was also able to provide a dress for me in my short time frame."
Advice for other brides?
"I would recommend keeping your options open and trust your gut."
